I received another Where's George Bill today.

I'm in the market for a new cell phone plan and I'm really annoyed with the state of the cell phone industry in the US right now. The Mrs. and I want to share a family plan, it's the cheapest option for both of us. The only carrier we can go with is ATT because they have the best coverage in our area and the terrain around here is pretty bad for wireless signals. I resent having to sign a 2 year contract for a phone. I resent that the cheapest plan starts at $60/month. They're likely to force the Mrs. to get a new phone, and there's a chance they'll do the same for me even though I'm already an ATT customer. Tomorrow we go to get new plans with a heart full of resentment.

At least there's this:

It wouldn't be remotely cheaper, but you could make those new phones iPhones. Then you wouldn't have to act all sophisticated. You could let your phone/ipod/internet/vibrator/doomsday-device do it for you.

That sucks though.

Do I act sophisticated now?

The iphone doesn't interest me. Maybe for her though?

Oh sweet Google, where is your Gphone?
